I found this book at work and needed something to read in my break. Not sure why I finished it.
Far too many characters - really confusing. Add to that, they are actors so their character names are also thrown in.
Time line is confusing. This happened, then this happened and then suddenly 3 months later.....
And Jemima Shore investigates what actually? She contributes nothing very much and in herself, isn't terribly interesting.
Over all this book is very dated and doesn't age well.

This is a solid whodunnit with an endearing investigator in the guise of Jemima Shore. It is well written, except for a slightly clunky style device to hide the identity of one of the characters. Quite a bold decision from the writer but it doesn't quite work. Otherwise an excellent read and I will certainly be trying others in the series.
