This was a nice collection of comics about books and reading - Roz Chast and S. Gross are well represented. I don't know how anyone can produce a book of book cartoons without soliciting at least one Tom Gauld comic, though.
Really funny!! A big collection of cartoons/sketches, one page each, with only one sentences to go with it. They all are relates to books, bookstores, edition world, etc. Good humor, some easter eggs kid of thing here and there, some jokes you got to have some knowledge of author or their works to gets but books lovers should get them easily and also enjoy. I love it!
Dieses größerformatige Hardcover ist eine Anthologie mit 130 Cartoons über die Buchwelt - Autorendasein, Buchhandlungen und Literaturveranstaltungen. Einige bekannte Namen sind dabei - aber wie es bei Anthologien immer so ist, gibt es mal mehr und mal weniger witzige.
Außerdem sollte man bei einigen belesen sein, denn oftmals gibt es keinen erklärenden Untertitel. Nur die Cartoons in Reinform. Witzig!
