Buen libro. Pero que rabia me dio el final.

It started off really well, but I found that when other humans began to appear in the story again after the death of Tarzan's parents the characters quickly devolved into flat, static, stereotypes. If it weren't for the surprise ending (which wasn't at all what I expected and pleasantly surprised me) I would have rated it two stars.

Easy and fun to read, with a twinge of a downer ending that really works (If you dont keep reading the series of course). However, it is horrendously racist, like maybe one of the most straightforwardly racist pieces of popular culture I have experienced.

My preconceptions were based on what I remember of the Tarzan t.v. shows I watched a long time ago.

The book is way better.

Never wouldve thought this wouldve been such an amazing read
