If you could give halves, this would be 4.5
The book sucked me in instantly and the promise of a twist through kept me turning pages. It's the sentences like 'if only they really knew what happened' and 'they will never know my secret' that really keep you going!!
I love books with different perspectives and this was great. My concern was that the book would end with everyone being 'okay' and 'healthy' (you'll understand when you read it) and they weren't. In a way that is realistic and made the whole thing more believable.
Will be keeping an eye out for this author!

Compelling page-turner with a hundred twists and turns. Psychological thrillers are not my usual cup of tea, but I liked the pace of this one. The mental health and neurology aspects didn’t quite work for me, but it’s my professional field to nitpick and it was great for lay reader.

I really enjoyed this book! I read My Husband's Wife and this is another great one by Jane Corry. I would definitely recommend this one! Thank you First To Read for giving me this arc in exchange for an honest review.
