I loved to see Archer grow into this independent man and also see him finally let himself be vulnerable to someone - Bree. The book was heartbreaking beautiful, and each time I read a romance book, i get to see a new version of someone’s way of showing love.
On another note, they both just needed therapy.

good plot, but as always I am soso frustrated with the wack-ass descriptions of human anatomy and the hypermasculinity that always seems to accompany romances of this style. I would give so much to just read one romance novel where the man is not massive, with 10-pack abs and representing the definition of male. Plus, I learned that pure romance is not for me, I need some other plot elements to keep me going

I loved how sweet this book was and how patient the MC was, their love story made me so happy and yet sad at the same time. Some of Archer's story felt a little unrealistic and I wish there had been more back story on his bringing up for how developed he was given his circumstances.

I wanted to like this so badly but I just couldn’t get into it. I found it cringy…the last couple chapters I got mildly interested but found it predictable by the finish.
