I was bored at the beginning of this. The transition between wills early years and now his time as a full ranger was a lot of catching up and explaining. But the story picked up in the second half. And now it’s ended as a cliff hanger so I’m willing to keep reading the rest.

Love the adventure! Up until this point I've loved how women are given respect but acknowledging gender differences. However I wasn't a fan of the petty start of the book where two female characters 'fight' over a man. I'm hoping it doesn't continue through the series
