This is my equivalent to trash t.v. Is it amazing world building and well fleshed out plot points? No. Does it have an adorable sunshine x grumpy romance? yes, absolutely.

Don’t come into this book with high expectations. It’s cute, super quick and easily digestible. It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but i’ll gladly read the rest of the series. 😆

I enjoyed it

Not too heavy, no overdone drama, and a story that draws me in. Yes I enjoyed it and look forward to the next.

This is kind of my guilty pleasure... I need something addicting to binge and this series is perfect. Time flies when you're reading this.

An enjoyable and fairly fast read. The forest of Firelight truly had me on my toes throughout the entire book. Although part of me wished they hadn't played the main female character down so much as a "dumb ditzy princess" type. I enjoyed the trials that arose. Definitely a unique take to enemies to lovers.

This book pleasantly surprised me with how much I liked it! There was a good dose of fantasy, magic, romance and adventure to balance everything out. I liked how well the two main characters balance each other out and was not expecting the secrets that were surrounding Rhys. Overall it was a pleasant, quick read. Giving this a solid 5 stars.

Whelp. If you go into this knowing there are 3 more books to go and have them ready to read, fantastic. Otherwise, it's a bunch of angst and cliffhangers and waiting. Worth it, because the story is intriguing and well set up, though :)
