i love wodehouse. this one's a classic. he's clever, silly, absurd and has provided me with many a lazy summer's day entertainment growing up.

Four stars for being a tad predictable, but an otherwise enjoyable read with some classic Wodehouse comedy.

The master, after seeing off the shine of the new ball in the first session of play, gets his entire repertoire of shots out and by the end, is using his feet with aplomb and playing on the rise. Needless to say, he carries his bat through.

Definitely a funny read. PG Wodehouse is one of the rare authors that make me laugh out loud. It's absurd, and random and good story telling.

Absolutely loved it. Made me laugh heartily. Reminded me of what I love about The Importance of Being Earnest. I’ve been trying to include some light-hearted books to my reading, and this one really pulled through.

Really funny. Reminds me of a romantic comedy from the golden era of films. Want to read more by this author
