Doing It Right Prequel by Harloe Rae

This is a short introduction to Presley and Mason’s second chance, small town romance. It’s just enough to make you curious, and so short it’s frustrating!

Probably the biggest anthology I've ever owned!! I've only touched the surface because there are close to 1500 pages, around 80 contributing authors, which led to well over 50 original stories. I will opening this massive anthology every chance I get because it's not only huge, but the stories I've read are absolutely amazing!!!

Do NOT pass this one up! Plus all of the proceeds are going to a worthy cause and it's only available for a limited time.

Even though I've barely made a dent in the massive anthology and it's jammed packed with so many great authors, here are just a few glimpses of the ones I've been able to read so far:

New stories:
She's the One; Helena Hunting - This is a short story about Bishop's brother, Nolan and Stevie's friend, Pattie. It's super cute because well, Nolan is basically the opposite of Bishop, Mr. Grouchy, and yet he's there trying to put a damper on Nolan hitting on Stevie's friends. It's adorable and all things I love about the Pucked world Hunting created.

Dirty Crazy Bad; Siobhan Davis - A short story that resides in The Sainthood - Boys of Lowell world. This story takes place purely in Lowell with Ashley, Chad and Jase, although you might catch a glimpse of Harlow and her men. It's hot, fast paced and everything you'd expect in this dark world. I loved it and it reminded me how much I miss Harlow and her boys.

The Offering; Shantel Tessier - A Lord's World short story that introduces Adalyn, her no good boyfriend and someone you definitely don't want to meet in the dark, Prickett. So dark and good, I can hardly wait for what Shantel has planned for this world going forward.

Bonus Epilogues:
Royal Elite; Rina Kent - Told entirely from Aiden King's POV. This is one we've all been waiting for, to crack into the cold shell of a man and see if marriage and fatherhood really changed his inner monologue. LOVED every moment peeking inside Aiden's mind and the glimpses Rina gave us for the future.

Boyfriend Bargain; Ilsa Madden-Mills - Will Zack finally pop the question to Sugar? Super cute build up to the big night, plus it brings us all home to Hawthorne U. Ilsa is diving back into this world soon, where Zack and Sugar started it all, and I can hardly wait to return to her new adult world.

As you can see, this anthology has a little bit of everything and I've barely scratched the surface. Each short story is short enough to fit in during a lunch break, right before bed, while getting your tires rotated, LOL...basically anytime. Just don't miss out.

I wish I could give Nightingale more stars. The generosity of the participating authors is mind-blowing. The book contains a very impressive list of authors. They wrote stories that give a sample of their writing styles and then didn't take a dime. All money goes to aid those affected by the War in Ukraine. I am in awe of their generosity.

The cost of ebook works out to a penny a page. Where else can you get so much entertainment, so many hours of escape, for so little? Nightingale is not a quick read, after all it takes time to read 800 pages. I consider it a book of escape, a book of filler.

I read the book a little at a time. I had to read stories by my favorite authors first. The price was more than worth it for just their stories. When I would finish a book I would read a story or two from this before picking up the next book bringing lots of amazing variety to my days. I really, really hope that some of the authors continue the stories that were published in Nightingale.

What a lovely anthology! Some of the stories are stand-alones, others are prequels, and others are bonus scenes or alternate chapters from books already out. This collection introduced me to so many new authors in addition to giving me content from some authors I already love.

Here are some of the selections I've read so far:
-Royal Elite Bonus Epilogue by Rina Kent.
-Paper Ring by C. Hallman & J.L Beck
-Zodiac Academy: The Shimmering Springs by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti.
-Dirty Crazy Bad by Siobhan Davis
-Love the Most by Carian Cole.
-Never too late by K.A Linde

There's sure to be something for everyone!

Oh my, I have been waiting for the collection of fabulous stories, by some amazing authors.
I have not read all these stories, but I wanted to share some of the ones I have read now.
Queenside by Skye Warren gives us a sensational glimpse into the future of Avery and Gabriel's wonderful story that begins in The Pawn.
A little Surprise by Katee Robert was a wonderful teaser. I have not read any of the books in this series, and this snippet makes me want to rush out and buy them!
Old Money by Amelia Wilde us Mason and Charlotte's story from Net Worth and boy Charlotte has a surprise!
The Whitney by Alta Hensley & Livia Grant give us an expanded view of that infamous closet scene at The Whitney with Katja and Dex!.
Taken By Moonlight by Pepper Winters gave us a peak at Lawrence and Bellamy on the island of Rapture and Rayvn who arrives to steal and pillage. I can't wait for The Thief and The Heiress!
