You Can't Prevent Prophecy is a light-hearted fantasy about the Chosen One, and trying to achieve the prophecy. Josephus is the tall, blonde human warrior and on a cave expedition he finds the Eye of Aera, a priceless artefact required to complete a prophecy. With this friend Grilk, halfling Penny and dwarven cleric Frald, the four of them try to uncover the true meaning of the prophecy and deal with the outcome of their actions.
I thought this book was quite fun. I liked the writing and the characters, the kobold, Grilk, was definitely my favourite and thoroughly interesting to read. I thought the pacing was great and I liked the adventuring. The fight scenes were not the strongest but still enjoyable and I felt the lows of the story, even so far that I got a little teary.
It was a decent, but not memorable book and worth a read for fantasy fans.
