OMG the biggest let down when I found out Roly's secret, I was done. I had tolerated his character because I was anticipating a crazy secret, color me not entertained when it was that essentially nothing happened to him during the op when everything went to shit. Also the misunderstanding trope is the worst, these two could not act like adults at all. Oh and the Bear fetish was weird.

I put off reading the wrecked series and roly was actually the reason. I didn't enjoy how he was portrayed in another book and a bonus story. But I find myself really enjoying this book and think heath and him are actually a good couple. I loved seeing them with the girls, and would have liked more with them all.
A good end to the series.

Port in the storm

I have been wanting Roly’s story since I first met him and he was worth waiting for. Roly has so many hidden depths and such a good heart. It’s one of the many reasons I love him but he really embodies his nickname. I alternated between gasping and laughing as he tried to befriend Heath. Speaking of, Heath/SPB is amazing. I adore him so much. He’s someone I want to cuddle all day and I love how he is with his girls. Watching him and Roly fall in love was eye-opening, amusing, beautiful and fulfilling, like their kisses. My favorite part though was Roly becoming himself. His journey made me cry, hope, smile and believe. I love this series and am excited to see who becomes part of the Wrecked family next.

Roly has been a presence in the earlier books and I've often wondered what his story is behind the smile he always seems to have on. He shows the world a happy go lucky façade while in reality, he hides so much of himself while he is trying to live up to a promise made after his captivaty.

Heath is not happy when he realizes who Roly is and that is the former classmate that gave him the nickname of Heavy. Then Roly keeps trying to help Heath and to say there are disasters is an understatement.

When Heath begins to see behind the mask that Roly wears is when you will need tissues. There is so much Roly is hiding that all the feelings will come out. I thoroughly enjoyed following their road to HEA.

I really enjoyed the overall story but the writing style just wasn’t my cup of tea.

It felt very jumpy when it came to setting locations and just overall descriptions of what was occurring and who was there.

There were multiple times in the story where I found myself thinking “Where the fuck are we” location wise. There was also a lack of inner thoughts and a TON of dialogue between characters.

But I’m still rating it 4 stars because the actual plot and relationship development was very intriguing and kept my attention.

4.5* of fabulous

I laughed, I cried, I held my breathe when reading this enemies to lovers story, about proving that teenagers are a*** holes but they hopefully grow up. Roly has grown and changed, all with the catalyst of what happened in those three days. Heath didn't want anything to do with Roly, even when he was trying to make amends. I really enjoyed this book about personal growth, in fact the whole series brilliantly written.
