If you read fanfic, and love tropes like fake relationship, only one bed, mutual pining, etc - this is a great read. Just ... don't hire that General Manager, ever. Seriously who asks his team members to do that??

This book is hard to rate - on the one hand I love some lovable idiots but a lot of the miscommunication problems went on way too long - which is saying a lot since this was such a short book.

This felt a bit overdone, and while I don’t know much about amnesia I have to imagine that completely losing the last 9 years is pretty severe, and that taking months for it to come back would be cause for greater concern. There also wasn’t much hockey in this overall, since one of the main characters was injured the whole time. It also felt like they used poor Diego as a prop. Kinda icky-feeling.

That said it was fun and enjoyable overall. Lighthearted.

These two are knuckleheads, but in a very endearing way! Very OTT at times, and I wanted to glare at them on occasion, but overall a fun read.

3. I’ve always enjoyed an amnesia trope and this was no different. The writing was choppy but the characters were cute. Dima is so sweet and Rory is so in his head. Like I get it, amnesia leaves you in a gray area and it’s hard to draw the line. The reason they stayed fake dating was weak but it didn’t really matter.
