Excellent characters and mystery -lots of plot developments that keep the story interesting and the mystery going. This was a reread for me due to Hurricane Sandy - stuck at home with all the libraries closed. Love the relationships among the recurring characters. I really enjoy this series and would highly recommend to anyone that likes British mysteries.

You know you are doing something wrong if the reader is not even interested to find out how the mystery is solved, isn't it?

I wanted to enjoy this one a lot more than I did. The plot is clever and the two mysteries interact in a very satisfying way. But there's so much moronic racism in it that I've given up on the series.
