A really fun read, even if it mirrors closely some of the same events as False Memory.
Plus it takes place in Nevada. Anything better?

4.5. Super well executed suspense thriller! If you read my reviews, you know I'm a sucker for well-written characters, and their development. While there wasn't a lot of depth to the characters, their interactions while dealing with phobias and stress was excellent.
An interesting premise that gets watered down in unnecessary detail! I really liked the eventual wrap-up and general plot points Koontz explored in Strangers but it takes way too long to actually get there - the pacing is entirely lopsided with too much information offloaded into the first third and not enough into the last third. With some thinning of pages and characters this could have been a really unique page turner with a lot more tension than it ended up having. A shame as there’s some really nice commentary on society and humanity as well as some thrilling concepts and what-if scenarios explored.
Too long- could have been edited down with at leasr 200 pages

This book is exciting because it's told about multiple strangers who meet up to uncover a mystery. Weird dreams, fears, and obsessions with the moon? This book has got you scratching your head. It becomes a bit much at 60%, but doesn't disappoint at the end! Dean Koontz is a fabulous story teller who makes it hard to put the book down!
