Becca is a thirty something year old woman, successful business co-owner who is happy but looking to find her Mr Right. Becca is ready for a husband and babies but she can’t seem to find the one. During a manifestation ceremony Becca asks for Mr Right to find her and directly afterwards she receives a text from her ex.
Two storylines follow this, the story of what happens if she texts back, and the story of what happens if she doesn’t.
My thoughts: I found this so tough to get through! The writing style and short chapters going back and forth between the storylines was really confusing. I like the what if? storyline but I just couldn’t keep my place.
I didn’t find Becca overly likeable, she came across as a bit desperate and it felt awkward. Carlos is adorable and the ending was the one I was rooting for from the first chapter.

I wasn’t quite sure about this book when I started but this turned out to be an amazing read! I was giggling and kicking my feet 🙊🙊🙊🙊

I have read and enjoyed some of the previous work from this author but this book felt too slow and difficult for me to get into. I loved the initial 'sliding doors' concept but I felt that I just did not root for Becca at all. I had no interest for either of the relationships and I figured the twist out pretty early on. I think this could be a really enjoyable book for a lot of people, unfortunately this just wasn't the case for me. I did really enjoy her writing style however and the way that each chapter reminded the reader which side of the story we were reading in each chapter.
