My favourite poetry collection ever!! Beautiful lines of what it is to be an immigrant, a woman, generational trauma and a refugee. Some of it really connected to me, some of it was a new experience to me but all of it was incredible and poems I will definitely be revisiting in the future. Any poetry that can make me cry whilst I'm reading on the tube in rush hour is 5 stars in my book!

I'm not a big poetry reader so I can't dissect the technical skill of these poems but I can say I enjoyed the collection and found some one them to be really impactful. I'm glad I picked this up, especially with its commentary on aspects of the world that are very relevant right now. I would recommend this.
