LOVED. Such a well crafted story, I was constantly on edge.

Setting: Pennsylvania
Rep: bisexual protagonist

This was okay! It kept me engaged with short chapters, though the "big twist" at the halfway mark was very predictable - I'm glad it didn't come any later! I liked how this played out, and I always love queer rep in the mystery / thriller genre!

Spicy, angry, and delicious. Just the thing for when you're feeling a LOT of feminine rage.

Wish I could give half starts because my rating is 3.5
The book starts slow and I was constantly wondering what the characters had to do with each other. But when their paths cross I can honestly say I wasn’t expecting it and it was good!
I listened to this on audible so I didn’t get through as fast as I would have reading it. It was a quick read to get me out of my slump and felt like a good mystery and dark academia mesh.
