So this is a YA thriller although I’m used to them being dumber. This was actually pretty well written. I just have this one problem that it was very forgettable. There’s nothing really that shocking or spectacular. It’s a nice fast read and the ending and story are perfectly okey. The main character is fine, granted she’s eager to jump into conclusions but she’s a teenager so its fine. But i didn't really get attached to her or any other character. So yeah, its a great, fast thriller but ultimately it falls flat.

overall my biggest issue here is i simply didn’t care about anyone or anything that happened in this book. and that’s not at all what you want to see from a thriller! / 3 stars

Found this story to be fairly dull for a suspense/thriller novel, and honestly none of the characters really left an impression on me.

It was just cheesy and silly but I loved it. It’s very modern in that there are kids on YouTube who decide to explore places and not just for the haunt factor. They want people to see the cool abandoned places that most people wouldn’t dare of breaking into. It reminds me a little of Sam and Colby on YouTube for that reasoning. If you really sit back and think about everything in the book it was predictable. But it’s a fun read so who cares
