I enjoyed this book as a sort of light hearted story. I somewhat thought the YouTube channel would come in to the story a bit more than it actually did, but it was still a fun read. I did not figure out whodunit, so that's kind of a fun - I like a surprise twist that I could have seen coming but didn't predict. :)

I just have a lot of holds coming through on Libby that sound more interesting to me right now, plus a lot of book club picks for the month. Might come back to this later.

A perfect YA thriller. Ingenious use of multimedia elements. I loved it!

It was alright, just not great or anything. Very YA writing style, so: bland. The romance was nothing but
since she was literally dating a murder, I guess it  tracks that the romance wasn’t good?? IDK

Classic LA noir, in a queer, young adult context. Very fun read. Perfect for a day at the beach. I love how the LA landmarks are interwoven into the story and the precocious kids seem like the type to go to Hollywood High. This type of story has been done before but the telling here is very tight and the context is updated. This is begging to be filmed.
