Not my favourite instalment but still really good! I love the main characters, they were so much fun to read and I loved the depth they had. I did feel like I was missing the strong friendship bonds that were present in other books, which is weird because Maria’s whole thing is that she needs to be around people she loves all the time. I also really didn’t like the huge time jump; I turned the page and all of a sudden it’s saying 6 years have gone by? I wish we could have seen their relationship build over that time, it would have made their chemistry a lot stronger. The snippets of text messages that were sprinkled throughout weren’t enough to fill that gap. And the self-realization at the end went on for WAY too long. It could have been cut in half and it still would have been long lol. Like I get it, you’ve finally realized when the reader already knew this whole time that you fucked up, shut and go deal with it

My least favorite of Olivia Dade’s books. The least spicy, the most repetitive, and the dumbest third act breakup I have ever read. A real disappointment honestly!

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. It was a great mix of emotional, funny, and spicy (though I could have used even more spice, LOL).

However, the last third of the book felt a bit rushed. There was too much time spent on certain scenes and not enough on others. The character development was great. As always, I liked the fat representation, and for this one, it was both MCs, not just the FMC, and both were extremely comfortable in their bodies.

Overall, it was a funny, spicy romance, it was just missing something I can’t quite name to get that other ½ of a star.

While the narrator did an amazing job, I wish it had dual narration.

Soft, funny, kind, heartfelt, friends to lovers- this book was so gentle and lovely! Child-free rep and fat rep as well. I liked it better than All the Feels, but not as much as Spoiler Alert. Would have liked to see Maria interacting with the other cast more.  Otherwise, 10/10 ❤️❤️

Definitely my favorite of the series. I would skip the first 2 and just read this. I think you can figure out most of the references.
