DID NOT FINISH: 66%

Ugh, I kept hoping it would get good, but it just felt consistently flat throughout.

The plot felt disjointed, and at times, confusing as hell. Also, the narrator Kelsey Navarro's tone grated on my nerves, especially when she was trying to speak with a Swedish accent.

I'm not sure if it's the authors writing style, or how it translates as an audiobook, but some of it just made zero sense and broke my concentration.

In summary; it felt more like a script was being read out, as opposed to a story.

I wanted to like this story, but I found it to be just meh. In the other stories of the series, the characters had more depth and inner dialogue. There were back stories and dimension to each character. In Ship Wrecked, I found the characters main purpose is to have sex with each other and to get through a very long movie journey to be together. I just couldn't wait to finish it.

Thank you Netgalley and Avon Harper Voyager for providing me with an advanced copy.
