Takes a bit to get used to the antiquated language, but the imagery and atmosphere are undeniable. A good, spooky haunted house story.

The last line is pure gold. "I have now told you my own and Tom’s adventures, together with some valuable collateral particulars; and having acquitted myself of my engagement, I wish you a very good night, and pleasant dreams."
