After meddling with all his siblings love lives for them to get the happily ever after they deserve Viggo is ready for this own love story. Enter Tallulah Clarke, a grumpy thriller author who doesn’t believe in love and needs help with the romantic subplot of her book. After deciding to help each other and become roommates, Tallulah and Viggo realize maybe their beliefs about love are not always true. This was a beautiful love story in which we see Viggo open his dream bookstore and finally experience the love he reads in his books, sees in his family and dreams of experiencing himself. I love how the story was structured to emphasize how both Viggo and Tallulah realize what they need to overcome in order to be together in the way they deserve.
Only and Forever manages to subvert so many classic tropes by just making the characters talk to each other. Where a lot of romance novels have the MCs that do things that may not be the best course of action and have them stick with it, Liese makes sure the characters take a moment and apologize and talk to each other and not drag on unnecessary conflicts. Also love that this book doesn’t have a third act break up.
Loved spending time with all different characters from the Bergman Books and how they supported Viggo as he opened his dream romance bookstore. I can’t believe that this series is over now and I’ll never get to experience this world for the first time again.

Spoiler
For example, when Viggo and Tallulah argue while building IKEA furniture and get on each others nerves, Tallulah takes a moment to be herself, recognizes that she might have been too harsh and apologizes and thanks Viggo.Loved spending time with all different characters from the Bergman Books and how they supported Viggo as he opened his dream romance bookstore.
