Crashing your ex boyfriends engagement party really isn't a wise thing to do, that is unless you meet a wonderful man at the party. Jenna could not let her relationship with Drew go as he was her Mr. Right, but her relationship with Mitch takes her down the path to realizing what she always thought she wanted was not really what she needed. Mr. Wrong actually is perfect. This story had great characters, a well written plot and enough emotion, humor and angst to keep the readers interest. It was a great book that I highly recommend.

What happens when you crash your ex-boyfriend's engagement party (who does that by the way)? Well if you are Jenna you meet Mr. Right who you convince yourself is Mr. Wrong because he doesn't check off all the boxes on an arbitrary list of what makes a man Mr. Right. This was a great change of pace from Ms. Blake's previous series. This is a great story that just shows the needless problems that can arise due to poor communication. Jenna has a lot of baggage that she brings to this relationship/friendship and quite frankly there were times I wanted to reach into the book and just slap her. However, in the end she figured out what was important. I liked Mitch. He was a great guy that the readers will fall in love with. I love this author's writing style and look forward to more books to come.

I voluntarily read and review an advanced reader copy of this book provided to me by the author.

Jenna Can't Go Wrong with Mitch!😍😍

For many years, I've been as much a General Hospital fan as I am a voracious romance reader, so one could understand my excitement about finally getting an opportunity to read Tessa Blake's "Mr. Wrong." (By the way, love how Tessa pays homage to my favorite GH character of all time: Sonny Corinthos, played by Maurice Benard😍).

Just like my favorite soap opera, this story had me "all up in my feelings!" One minute, I was gushing and smiling😏😢😍 (Mitch), and then the next minute snorting and laughingπŸ˜‚ (Kari, Ryan--Jenna's best friend & co-worker). But I'm seriously trying to forget those dreaded in between moments that had me "feeling some type of way" because of my constant frustration with Jenna!! I was so thoroughly pissed with her, I wanted to throw my kindle!! I mean there was some serious eye rolling going on when it came to Jenna's scenes in this book. I reminded myself of times I would stand in front of the TV yelling at the GH characters to "get it together!!"

Highlight: Mr. Wrong he is not!! Mitch. Is. Awesome.😍 He's smart, charismatic, sexy--has a voice so smooth and a smile so gorgeous, it seems to turn any woman (or man) into molten lava. (Honestly, I hope the audio version of this book matches the voice I imagine in my mind based on Tessa Blake's amazing description.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) Mitch sees Jenna and turns on the charm. It never comes off sleazey, just purely sexy and confident. He's so into her, but this isn't quite clear to Jenna *eye roll.* But Mitch is nothing but sweet, kind, and still patient with her--so, so patient...Dude deserves some type of an award for wanting to deal with this chick!! Again, *eye roll.*

Jenna! Jenna! Jenna!πŸ˜” This woman practically gave me "reader's whiplash" and "reader's mini strokes." Again, with reading "Mr. Wrong," I'm reminded of the classic soap character who's always screwing up things by jumping to crazy conclusions; the characters we "love to hate," then maybe "love to love," then back to "love to hate," -again-because they make the most terrible decisions based on those very WRONG conclusions. I want to change the channel because I just can't bear to watch the clusterf*** of events to come, but I don't look away, or change it because I HAVE to know what happens next!!😞

Mitch is all wrong because he doesn't fit her "criteria" of a "Mr. Right." She could barely explain why Mitch is so wrong, but gives all the boring reasons why her douchebag ex is so right. *Eye roll--again.* (Insert Scream of Frustration Here.) If this was IRL & Jenna was standing in front of me with an actual "physical" list, I'd slap it out of her hand, roll that thing up, then smack her upside the head with it! πŸ€•

The Proverbial Straw That Breaks the Camel's Back (For me): The phone call from the douchebag ex and everything else that follows!! Really Jenna?!!😲😠

Enough already! Readers will have to take a peek for themselves to see how it ends, but I've definitely enjoyed this story, even with its "Jenna Moments"...Mitch leaves a lasting good impression and Jenna...well, she'll most likely be a character not so easily forgotten.

I didn't want to give any spoilers, but I will say this: Kudos to Mitch for finally letting Jenna have it and saying, "Enough is Enough!"

Psst. *Whispers* "Mitch...call me if things don't work out with you two. Like, if Jenna screws up again..." *Shrugs shoulders* "I'm just saying..."
