Isla's still battling with her feelings for the two main men in her life, whilst simultaneously trying to deal with the fallout of her powers. In addition, she's once again facing end of the world stakes, which have her looking all over for answers. Whilst she may dream of a simple life, she's dealing with troublesome men, shocking familial secrets and danger at every turn.

I think leaving Lightlark at book 2 would be the perfect way to go

The plot in this seemed haphazardly sewn together

Love triangle drawn out unnecessarily but real ones are team oro…. Yes I understand grim is obsessed with her but he is also not a good person did we think about that
