Miller managed a philosophical debate that was anything but boring. This is a terrific series. Look forward to seeing where this goes from here.

Dark Knight Strikes Again was bad but it was bad in a fun way. This isn’t even bad, honestly pretty good art, it just has no real reason to exist for me.

I knew that this was not going to be for me, shouldn't have read it. Not sure who this is for really.

Frank Miller, once the golden child of the comics world, squeezes out another foul-smelling lump of bombast and vapidity set in his corner of the Neoliberal DC Universe. Except this time, his expulsions are polished and perfumed by the Brazilian artist Rafael Grampa, making the pages a little more visually palatable. You will not throw up, but you will want to.

Admittedly I haven’t read Master Race yet but man this was barely a story, and the art was so very much not my jam. I’ve really got to stop trying with Miller at this point and just stick with Year One

I've loved nearly every TDKR book...but this one just didn't do it for me. Miller's writing style has been rather monotonous for me lately. You'll find the same try-hard dialogue repetition that's found in Superman: Year One that aims to make these sweeping and epic statements but, ultimately, comes off as condescending and pretentious.

The book reads.

like this.

and this.

So. Freaking. Dramatic.

Time to retire, Frank.

Who doesn't like an anti-Trump Frank Miller story?
