"When Death’s lips touch mine, every bit of pain I’ve ever held disappears. There’s no anger, no grief, no sorrow. Only the understanding that everything is the way it should be. Everything is washed away with the sea, and all that’s left is… contentment."

This one was a super unique dark romance, and I really liked how it was written. I really enjoyed Letum's character and loved his little notes and gifts that he would leave Lilith. I felt Lilith's character was also relatable as someone that has lived through the tragedy of losing someone so close to you and feeling that emptiness, which made me enjoy this book even more.

The smut was maybe a 2.5/5? There definitely could have been more, but I found myself coming back more for the storyline and watching Lilith heal.

Definitely a quick and entertaining read, especially if you enjoy atypical characters!

Read this as a space filler on my phone and it was exactly that. The smut wasn’t even really good enough to grab my attention that much. Would have dnf-ed if I didn’t have a long bus ride with nothing else to read.

This book was pretty spicy

… what did i read

This story made no sense. I didn't like it at all. Apart from how depressing it was (I'm staying away from sad FMC from now on), the story itself is incomprehensible and repetitive. Wake up, take meds, go to work, more meds, fight with the boyfriend, more meds, sleep, and repeat. That's it, that's the book. The notes from death were meh and annoying. He kept saying "soon" and it was so frustrating and boring.

Lily was a terrible FMC and death... was just so plain. Like why does he even fall for her? What's his story? Who is he? We know nothing about him just that he's in love with the FMC but she's just a sadTM girl (which I understand bc of what happened to her but damn everything was so sad it made me feel bad, didn't like the vibe at all).

Nothing is really explained. How does she see him? and why? Why does he do what he does? How does she move on from her trauma? Only bc she's horny? And also, how is she depressive and horny at the same time? I don't really know. And the worst of all: the ending. Wtf was that??? like ok, bye
