Overall I enjoyed this story. It covers some heavy themes so check the trigger warnings.
It is a shorter story and I think I’d have like it just a little more if it was a little longer and we could have gotten a little more build up and depth. Maybe seen flashbacks to “before” to give this “after” more depth. But I liked the idea and Letum a top tier shadow daddy.

HE’S SO FREAKING ROMANTIC! MY HEART CAN’T TAKE IT! The way he showed his love and the tenderness he gave her was so unbelievably phenomenal and heartwarming! And I loved the growth Lilith experienced as she visited the graves of her family. It’s not easy letting go of loss, and Lilith went through MULTIPLE. I don’t blame her for being withdrawn from the world, and her boyfriend certainly didn’t help her heal. Neither of them were beneficial to the other in that relationship.

But Letum? OH MY GAWD! Love him! Almost every word he spoke was poetic! I’m so happy him and Lilith ended up finally being together in the end once she regain her memories. And the patience he had was otherworldly! To know that the love of your life is within arm’s length but has no recollection of you must be suffocating!

Although this book was only 179 pages, the story felt endless! I kinda wish it was longer but, at the same time, Graves did a really amazing job in tying this book all together with such little pages! I really don’t have any critiques about the execution of this story. I just want more of it!
