Short and sweet! Was into it more than I expected. I still don’t understand the ending very much, but overall it was a quick and intense read.

So the book was cool, some of the quotes was just amazing but idk, it didn’t hit my pallet right sadly. I’m always one for doing the do with the grim reaper. Maybe this one was too dark for my tastes? I honestly don’t know. Just because it’s not my read doesn’t mean it wont be some one else’s.

I finished reading this book approximately three hours ago and I had already forgotten the title. It’s a very short book, I had gotten the recommendation by TikTok so I had an idea what it would be about. But I was disappointed it wasn’t as exciting as it was portrayed. The FMC was clearly struggling with such a traumatic moment in her life and the MMC was torturing her. Not comforting her in the ways I thought he could and overall it felt like a lot of what happened was slightly off the mark. Eventually when FMC was very into the MMC I got it with everything that he had been doing for her. But like seriously, he could have done better and so could she.

I read Death’s Obsession after seeing it recommended on TikTok, but honestly, it just wasn’t for me. The story dragged on, and I found it overly focused on smut scenes rather than moving the plot forward. It felt like the pacing slowed down to make room for these moments, which took away from the overall flow of the book.

The premise itself was a bit strange to me. The whole idea of Death waiting for the main character left me confused. Why not just let her die if that’s the endgame? It didn’t make much sense, and I kept wondering about that throughout the story. It felt like the concept had potential, but the execution left me wanting more in terms of plot and character depth.

Overall, Death’s Obsession didn’t hit the mark for me. While I can see why it might appeal to some readers, the combination of the slow pace and strange premise just didn’t work.
