The FMC has been through it, and while I found myself getting irritated with her at times, that ending? That completely shifted my perception of the entire book. It all came together in a way I didn’t expect, and I loved that.

Okay so I love the concept of the book but I really think I was expecting Deaths OBSESSION not Lilith's.
I understand the story was supposed to be about Lilith's character growth to come to terms with her family's death etc but I was really expecting Death to be more... Well more!
Death felt more like an ominous presence who turned up for freaky time every once in a while than as a person/being? That is actually obsessed, as said in the title.
