Fantastic biography. I could not put this book down. I commend Mr. Vargas in sharing his story.

3.5 I don't typically read non-fiction, but when you're going camping and can only fit a paperback in your bag, this book fit the bill.

And while it was out of my literary wheelhouse, I enjoyed it. Vargas is a solid writer, nothing too complex. He writes with honesty about his undocumented experience and connection to the greater immigration question in the US.

Very informative and interesting to hear about the author’s unique immigration experience and what he was able to accomplish in his career.

Everyone should read this book. What a crazy system of immigration we have in this country. It is soooo broken.
