Really intelligent and moving, especially when Jose Antonio Vargas writes about his teenage years trying to build a career while hiding his status. Highly recommend.

PEOPLE CAN NOT BE ILLEGAL.

Immigration has been a huge topic lately (the past couple of decades even), and it isn't as black and white as a lot of people think. This book really shows that there is WAY more to immigration than most US citizens even know.
Immigrants are expected to earn their spot in the United States, but what did American citizens do to "earn" their spot aside from being born in the right place at the right time.

Much like the author’s life, this book feels like a story unfinished.
