To have one of the animals named a racial slur is wild. This was published in 2019, there’s literally no excuse!

3.5 stars- it was cute. I laughed out loud 2x so it was ok. I really like Raven Kennedy but when she co-wrote this one it was a bit more contrived.
Major relevance with the "handshake" epidemic and I did NOT see that final twist about the town being THAT crazy. No wonder Remi left, no wonder she was so reluctant to head back to town.
Over all an ok read.

I was definitely not expecting the ending of this but it made for a good story. There was a good amount of humour, the characters were great and the overall story line was actually really well put together.

Such an easy read and I do wish there was more of an epilogue but honestly that’s it. I would suggest to read it instead of listening to it on Audible because when you’re listening to multiple POV like the 3 male characters, having the same narrator is both annoying and confusing.

I was grudgingly listening to it because of all the people who said the end was an interesting twist they didn’t expect. It definitely was a new twist and I did not see that coming at all.

definitely a wtf kind of book.

April's Fools was, uh, interesting? I will admit the smut and the characters were enjoyable.. but the ending was what got me. I didn't know if I was supposed to laugh or not. It was just so freaking ridiculous. Not something I would expect from this book but it was interesting...

First, the handshake plague was adorable. I don't know how these guys thought this thing was real but it was laughable. Once I read that.. I just started laughing. Crying and laughing. It wasn't even that funny but their reactions to it were.

These guys? Oh, well they go by Madix, Brant, and Theo. They all live in this sleepy little town where everyone knows everyone. Well, except these guys aren't too bright to hear bullshit when it's spoken to them. Again, hand freaking shake plague.

The sheriff of this little town gives these guys a mission: to go get his kid. He tells them little information about this mission - just gives them a map and a car. The entire time they thought they were picking up a dude.. boy were they shocked to find out Remington was a Remi.

These four had chemistry, kind of insta if you catch my drift. Lots of sexual tension and then random hook ups that shocked me a bit. These guys go from barely sharing a thing at all to going after the same girl rather quickly.

Overall, the ending man. That damn thing. I have nothing to say.

Fun!!!

This book is everything you think it’s going to be and nothing like it at the same time. Fast burn and downright hilarious, it somehow conveys a feeling of danger while sparking heat from beginning to end. Reno and the guys just work, even while the world burns - and it’s perfect, lol!

Pros:
- Can an end of the world boom be feel good?
- for that matter, can s book this hot be feel good? Why yes, yes it can.
- A FMC who knows her sexuality and OWNS it!!
- Seriously, women’s lib all the way. She’s inspiring.
- The guys are bumbling yet Alpha, it’s adorable.
- You’ll laugh.

Cons:
- I wanted more emotional build up, but it’s not that kind of book.
