Fine, I guess? Definitely had some unbelievable parts but it did a good job at building interesting in characters over the decades of their friendship.
Evvie, Maggie and Topher meet in college and become lifelong friends. The story brings you through their college lives together, their adult lives apart and what brings them back together - plus a few secrets along the way.
This was a one day read for me. I devoured this book and read for hours at a time. It was the perfect book for me since it sensed I was headed for a reading slump. I can always count on Jane Green for a great story that I can't put down. I loved how the book alternated POV's and covered years of the characters lives. It was also nice to see that the friendship was among three diverse people. If you haven't read anything by Jane Green - you should start. She doesn't disappoint.

This story follows 3 friends Evvie, Topher & Maggie starting in the 80’s when they met in college and became inseparable to present day of 2019. It shares each of their stories from college until they are reunited at there 30 year reunion. The book is based on what made them all drift away and secrets get revealed to each other. I really enjoyed the complicated relationships in this book and even though there was betrayal between 2 of the characters at the end they realize they are not perfect and no matter what they are not only friends but also family. I would have given it 5 stars if the book would have had more of Tophers story. All in all great book and would definitely read more if this author.
Pulled me in from the start and I devoured it in one day. Still no idea why! A perfect summer read.
3.5 stars. Maggie and Evvie met on the first day of college, quickly pulling Topher in as the third member of their friendship. As college came to an end, they promised their friendship would last the test of time. Unsurprisingly, they drifted apart, and none of them is living the life they wanted. At their 30th reunion, the three reconnect and hope they can start over and lead the lives they desired.
This was a nice story about college friends and the way their lives veer after leaving university and each other. I enjoyed that each of them was so different, but that is what made their friendship so strong. Overall this was a cute summer read, but nothing that blew me away.

This was a no for me. Disappointed. Too many cliches and huge gaps. Terrible, selfish shallow people.
What happened to Jane Green? The last few books she's written have felt as though she's just going through the motions.
Enjoyable
It was lovely to follow the friendship of three very different people over the course of several decades. I liked the characters, flaws and all, and I could have read several more hundred pages about their lives. The author did a great job of writing an engaging story.

Thanks to the publisher, via Netgalley, for an advance e-galley for honest review.
3.5 stars. Liked this one, didn't love it despite really wishing I had! I think Jane Green took on a big challenge when she wrote a book spanning 30ish years from three perspectives- there would be big time jumps, and I felt like we missed huge and possibly important parts of characters lives because it was impossible to have every detail from each of them in that amount of space and time. Because of this, I felt like we sometimes got shorted on bits of character development that would make some of the characters' choices and reactions make more sense or be more meaningful.
