Mooncakes is a wonderful little graphic novel about 2 paranormal people reconnecting and having a comfy and action packed time.
This novel is amazing, the artwork is beautiful, the characters were written so well and I loved reading every second. I was totally taken in by the world and all its little mysteries, I would love to see more.
I really loved the lgbtqa+ rep throughout and the comfy vibes especially for autumn were immaculate.
If you're looking for a quick, fun and fluffy read, I'd absolutely recommend this.

MOONCAKES was super sweet and the art was so cute! Nova is a witch and Tam is a nonbinary wolf shifter and they were best friends in school before Tam's family moved away. But now Tam is back in town and trying to defeat a dangerous demon hiding out in the forest. I loved the LGBTQ rep and the disability rep found in MOONCAKES and the romance was really sweet though Nova and Tam are already in love with each other when they're reunited. The magical world was fairly complex but not explained all that much, but seeing as this is a graphic novel there's not much room for that.

This graphic novel was SO adorable and well done. It was both light and whimsical, but was also able to hit on all the hard points of growing up and facing trauma. It was beautifully down and it has some wonderful and unique rep as well. Truly a lovely addition for anyone who loves graphic novels, and anything ultra cozy and witchy.
I couldn't give it anything less than 5 stars!
