Nietzche said “There is always some madness in love.” That couldn’t be any more true for Aspen and Kingsley. They lost so much time together, lost time hating from loving eachother. Miss Rina really saved the best book from the empire series as last.

Enemies to lovers.
Found Family.
Workplace Romance.

So many more tropes.

I loved the completion of Kingsley and Aspen’s story. ♥️

Aspen and qwens relationship healing was the best part of this book. However, given that I’ve already read gwens book, it was a little weird/annoying how much of a child Gwen acted like.

I also think that the fact that aspen got pregnant at 14 was a little too wild 😳

Kingston and Aspen did fit very well together and I liked that she calmed him down. Aspen learning to not rely on alcohol and eating well was also a good plot point.

I was in dire need to read this book, since the first in the series. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I love the back-and-forth, love-hate (but now mostly love) relationship these two have. It's simply chef-kiss. There was just some moments where Gwen annoyed me a bit lol
