Great collection of 4 quick Poirot stories. Not as layered as some of the longer novels, but all fun to read. Only managed to guess one correctly and I’m certain it’s because I read it before in another collection.
This short story collection was a very solid read. It wasn't amazing, I do think some stories were better than others, but all were good in different ways. I think my least favorite was Triangle at Rhodes, which was short and relatively uninteresting. I don't know if I really had a favorite in this collection, they all felt very average to me, but I will say that the Dead Man's Mirror was quite surprising and had me all topsy turvy. I think I prefer Christie's full-length novels over the short stories.
