The first Agatha Christie novel I've read. I very much enjoyed the four short stories, making this a very easy read. I'm looking forward to reading more of Hercule Poirot.

One of Christie's better short stories - probably because it's much longer than they usually are - but it still wasn't as good as the best of her longer works. The puzzle pieces all fit together, but the fit was noticeably forced.
