DNF at 20%. I found the writing style hard to latch on to. Lots of extra details added in and worded oddly, which wasn't my vibe. The plot had potential, not sure if it turned out okay but I'm fine with not knowing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Should you read this book?
Yes, if… you love a grumpy x sunshine vibe with fun banter and good spice
No, if… a sometimes forced feel to the banter will make you cringe too hard or if you don’t like knowing they’re referencing books you haven’t read (ignore this point if you HAVE read the other Rebels books)

God, I enjoyed Kate Meader's writing in this book.

Her narration felt mature, but without leaving aside the humor and personality of each of the characters, and I especially liked that she used an omniscient narrator to do it.

On the other hand, I feel that there was a need to delve deeper into the problem of sexism in the sports world because the solution to the conflict felt very rushed and that it was touched upon a little superficially.

But other than that, I loved Levi and Jordan and how their relationship evolved. I liked how mature they both were in facing their insecurities and flaws and in fixing misunderstandings.

I also really liked the secondary characters, especially Cookie (the dog.)
