I have zero notes. I feel like this book was written specifically for me and I loved every single second of it. Do not be surprised if I keep pushing this one down people’s throats because I need everyone to read it!

There were parts of this I genuinely enjoyed and then there were other parts that were genuinely a hate read. Overall, a miss for me from this author.

I have beef with how poorly thought out the plot seemed to be. It could’ve used an editor, or two, challenging the writing more to make it stronger. I predicted a solid 80% of the plot. A lot of it was also just poor writing and left me confused. For example- why was Katie so surprised that Cole was engaged, he literally told her he had been jilted in the first 10 pages of the book?? I immediately assumed it meant he had at least been engaged, it was more surprising that he actually got married. I found Cole an absolutely insufferable and unnecessary plot foil, there could’ve been a more creative solution. The fact that so much of the plot hinged on a miscommunication between the FMC and MMC that could’ve been answered by her simply asking “why?” ONCE, made me very frustrated.
