This book had me smiling like an idiot from the beginning! I loved how the book started in their childhood and quickly became the present time.
"Since you like my name, would you like to marry me?"
My first ever brother's best friend romance and it did not disappoint!
He'd been my one and only wish on every single one of my birthdays.
She laughed. It was beautiful to watch.
A great amount of spice as welllll!! Love a book that is cute and spicy!
"Fuck me," he muttered almost to himself. I would happily fuck you if that's your problem.
Another first for me, the marriage of convenience! I've only heard that the trope is really good but not I can confirm it's almost one of my favourite tropes.
With a soft smile on my face, I whispered, "Sweet dreams, wife." It took a moment for that single word to hit me in the gut. It took another to feel how right it sounded.
A whole heart-warming book!
"You should look at me like you love me, Olive, the way I’m looking at you.”
“Do you see me, Olive?” The question was important to me, her answer even more so. It wouldn’t be the movie star Jason Thorn kissing her into oblivion in a few seconds. It would be me. Jason. Her friend. The man who wanted to make her his.
“I’ve always seen just you, Jason.”
“I love you, Jason Thorn,” I admitted. I’ve loved you for a disturbingly long time.
“I love you, my beautiful little Olive. My wife.”
