Very graphic tale from the POV of a stalker obsessed with a girl after a brief encounter. I watched the series so I knew how this obsession takes over and leads to violence. There is nothing redeeming about the character Joe. I wouldn't say I enjoyed the book, more like disturbed by its nature

honestly, this book is not one of my favorites but was a fun read nonetheless. however, I found the ending so lackluster (but I do understand the setup for a sequel). twas a good read overall.

Coming from someone who watched the show first, I prefer this original version of Joe. His inner dialogue made him come across as creepy and messed up instead of the show's obsessed jokester. The writing was also very good, the story was engaging, and I could easily and quickly get enveloped by the book's world.
