THIS BOOK OMG! You're thrown into the plot from the first page. Witches, shifters, and a shadow daddy, oh my! Loved the slow burn and spice. Wren is a BADDIE, and I love her. I appreciated that while the romance was part of the plot, there was plenty of political intrigue and discussion of the evils of g-cide. Immediately put the next book on hold because I HAVE to know what happens next!

Did I just find my new favorite series??? It’s quite possible.
This first book in a newish fantasy romance series had be captivated from page 1. There was a perfect amount of world building that had me imagining the storyline vividly in my head the whole time, yet was still very character driven at the same time. The magic system doesn’t seem too complex but is intriguing and I really hope we hear more details about how it works in book two. This is also true enemies to lovers, captor/captive, and I was SO conflicted by their relationship basically the entire book…it was just a fantastic read. With the cliffhanger at the end, I have a feeling we haven’t even scratched the surface of the Bound by Blood realm and I’m so excited to jump into book two!

Wren is so cool. I want to be her. I don’t know how to feel about sin tho. He going to need a real good reason to dig himself out of the hole he’s in. But he’s hot so I’d forgive him in 2 seconds lolz.
