I really enjoyed the first in the Green Rider series. I thought that the story was a very interesting concept and the characters were well developed. There were a few things that had me confused but I'm sure they will be answered later on. I am excited to add the second book high up onto my next to read list.

I started this based on a recommendation that it was a nostalgic fantasy read. I think it is more suitable to a younger reader. I stopped reading mainly because some of the magic and events in this fantasy seemed very deus ex machina to the point where it was getting repetitiouns and annoying. I might try to finish it later, but, right now, I do not want to keep reading.
