I didn't expect this!

A sort of continuation Merida's story? Yes, please!

I did not expect it to be so ... heartbreaking and hopeful.

A fantastic story... I'm so glad I read it.

Maggie Stiefvater did it again, what did she do? She broke my heart. In a good way if that makes sense.

I had a hard time with the first third of the book, felt it a bit slow I don’t know why, but after that omg little did I know what was coming for my little heart.

I just love the way MS writes about magic in all its forms.

Honestly read this, it has everything a book about a princess in a quest should have but better.

I read this during 2022 but I never left a review. This is one of the most beautiful stories I’ve read. Not surprising because it’s by Maggie Steifvater who writes hauntingly beautiful and strange stories. This takes place after the events in the Pixar movies and uses old Gallic lore and gods and it is stunning. I loved it.
