Loved Nash, however I always find the “crime” plot of these books to feel super cringe. I enjoyed everything else!

I love this series!!! My favorite romance series I’ve read to date. This book is only 4 stars though because the romance itself is mid. If it were just this romance on its own, it would be 3 stars. But what makes the series so dang fun is the cast of characters and the way the small town wins over your heart. Even though I didn’t care much about the romance, I love all the characters and the antics and couldn’t wait every time I picked up the novel to read more (even though the books are long, I don’t want the books to be over). Also, Lucy writes the most fire sex scenes EVER. I didn’t even care that much about the main couple and I was still so turned on by the sex 🔥 cannot wait to get my hands on the third book and fall even more in love with this small town!

This was a 6 star read for me.
This book was ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER READ.
First of all, Nash and Lina? Absolute icons, both of them. They are just such unique characters whose stories and character development are amazing to follow, not to mention very entertaining. I love how they encourage eachother to get out of their comfort zones. They make a perfect couple. Beautiful.
Secondly, can we just talk about the small contributions to the first book of the series? "I was afraid I'd have to pull a Knox and carry you back." 😭 I adore them oh my gosh.
Also, I love how we can still see Knox and Naomi's story folding out eventough they aren't the main characters of the book. Not just their lives actually, but everyone else in town; even just Sloane and Lucian or Way.
Thirdly, the whole continuation of the Hugo Crime Family's plotline was so interesting and thrilling. It made the second part of this book just out of the world! I couldn't put the damn thing down!
Lastly, I loved the author's note at the end with Lucy explaining what the characters mean to her.
The fact that the lily of the valleys from the cover have such a deep meaning behind them absolutely warms my heart. ❤️
Thank you Lucy for writing this masterpiece!

I fricken love this series!! Didn’t think I’d care too much about this book but Nash made me love him and the whole book.
I love the writing and even though it’s totally not realistic, it is so comforting!
My new fave series so far!
Everyone says the last book is the best but idk how you can beat this! I literally was hooked from start to finish which is so rare for me

This was fun, but I personally didn't enjoy it as much as the first one. The townspeople are still amazing, and Lucy Score can definitely write, but it just did not have the same charm. I still enjoyed it, and I still think it's worth reading, but I five-starred the first one. So, not the same.
The one thing I feel like I should point out is that for the majority of the book, Nash is in a dark place. Totally understandable, of course. I thought his anxiety and depression was very accurately portrayed... so accurate, in fact, that maybe if you are also in a dark place, it might not be the story for you.
