finally finished it after I got it at a signing two years ago! I found this a bit trite at times but ultimately very informative and left me hopeful for the future of film. when I first received this and attended Alicia's event (at which I met not only her but also Amirose Eisenbach, and they were both wonderful) I had wanted to be involved with the film industry. though I have since lost that interest, and lost it hard, I enjoyed this book and was very appreciative of what it was trying to do, which was to tell stories worth being heard and to inspire others to work hard, learn, and get involved in order to spark change.
