I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun quick read. I loved the chemistry between Chase and Piper and the POVs. I liked the family drama and the slow-burn romance. I sure recommend this book!

The only reason this isn't 5 🌟 is because it's continuing on to another book. I hate when novels do that, especially romance. There was no resolution in this series to anything. Chase and Piper are together, but things still up in the air. The board issue is still an issue. They just found out about what Melissa and Gaitlin are doing, but again, nothing happened with that since it wasn't revealed until the end. This book was nothing but problems with no resolutions. I dont have high hopes for book 2 because there's a 3rd book. Even with my negative feelings, I loved Piper and Chase. As a couple, they are adorable. As separate people, they are powerhouses in their own right. I love watching Piper power through the mess that Chase's father left. Alex and the other side characters are great, too. The friendships they all have together work so well. They are a team, and its so nice to see. I will be reading book 2, and hopefully, there is some resolution.
A good light love story. I wanted it to have more depth than it did, but it was good hallmark style fluff for a light read.
