Chase Stone and his sister, Alex, are left their estranged, late father's business. They also learn that they have a brother they didn't know about. Their father's will states that they must find this sibling in order to receive their inheritance. Piper Maddox was their father's assistant until she was fired for no reason two weeks before his death. Chase and Alex rehire Piper as she is the only one who knows the ins and outs of the business.

This is book #1 in the author's new series, The Heirs. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to read the second book. While this doesn't end on a cliffhanger as far as the relationship between Chase and Piper, it does leave a major storyline to be continued.

I really liked the three main characters-Chase, Piper and Alex, Chase and Alex's sibling relationship was so strong. Plus, Chase is an absolute gem of a man and boss. So genuinely kind. He was nothing like his unethical father. He grows to care about Piper and becomes very protective of her.

This is a longer book for a romance at 416 pages and it isn't really focused on the romance in the beginning. Nonetheless, I still found the whole plot very interesting!

Thank you to Over the River PR for including me on the book tour and for the #gifted copy of the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

All Our Tomorrows by Catherine Bybee and narrated by Meg Sylvan is an audiobook I hesitated before requesting because the struggles of rich, hierarchical families is really, really not my jam (never seen an episode of the Kardashians, fact lol. However, and this is a huge however, I loved "When it Falls Apart" so I took a punt and really got into this title

Yes, it took a couple chapters, but the concept of an inheritance only being released on the proviso that the benefactors find their sibling, of whom they had no clue? Brilliant! Not to mention the whole Piper Chase malarkey, well!

Meg Sylvan gives an enigmatic performance across all characters and I am looking forward to more from Catherine Bybee, another delicious read!

Thank you to Netgalley, Brilliance Publishing | Brilliance Audio, the author Catherine Bybee and narrator Meg Sylvan for this outstanding ALC. My review is left voluntarily and all opinions are my own

Deserves negative stars for wasting my time. Heroine is so fckjng stupid and so is the hero. Every character here got shit for brains. Heroine got pregnant from a random one night stand, first didn’t want to tell that man, then later did. Am i supposed to cheer for her? I despise  men, but if the said soerm donor isn’t a real pos, he has the right to know.

Anyway, then she said, she doesn’t want the kid, that burden blah blah. Her parents are religious but meh she’s not but still she can’t bring herself to abort the foetus. Maybe adoption but that too isn’t a surety for her. What? This clown is the woman who’s going to deliver a child 🤡🤡

And, WTF is this pacing? They haven't even flirted well or even kissed but are already in love and feels “that connection”  this man supposed to be a billionaire ceo but irl is a loser hero who pants after her like a dog for no reason. Got married after being having one clinical sex. Which i am to think blew his mind 💀

There’s no plot, no romance, no glamour or sparkle for a billionaire romance trope, very loser characters, nothing entertaining except shit ton of yapping.

And that ending was so mehh and such a flop one, just letting us know that to know more read the next book; which I’m not going to.

Ending for couple: hfn(married)

There is something about Catherine's writing style that makes it feel like coming home. I always find such comfort and enjoyment in her books, so going into this one, I knew I was going to come away enjoying it, but this one blew my expectations out of the water. Chase and Piper were truly fantastic characters with so much depth. Their story gripped me from the very start, and I was rooting for them the whole way through.

I don't want to spoil anything about this book, so I'm going to stay very vague in this review, but if you take anything from this review, please let it be how much I enjoyed it. Some of the conversations in this book were so real, and I absolutely loved them. I loved how Chase and Piper's relationship developed and how the two of them supported each other.

There was a hint of mystery in trying to find the missing Stone sibling, which was perfectly executed. Again, not wanting to spoil anything, this book perfectly sets up the next one in the series, making it hard to wait the fiveish months for the next book.

If you've never read Catherine Bybee before, I think this would be a perfect place to start. And if you have any interest in some of the side characters, this is a slight spin-off to one of her earlier books. So, if you need something to hold you over, you could go read that book and the rest of that series (which I have read and loved as well).

✔️ Workplace Romance
✔️ Boss/Employee
✔️ Billionaire Hero
✔️ Third Person POV

All Our Tomorrows is the first book in Catherine Bybee's new contemporary romance series The Heirs. It's about Alex and Chase, whose absentee father dies suddenly and leaves them a massive inheritance with a stipulation that forces them to revisit the past before they can move forward. This is Chase's story as he takes over the business and rehires Piper, his dad's assistant. As he and Piper work together on his newly inherited billion-dollar enterprise, they also must find a sibling Chase never knew about.
Chase is an absolute dream. Smart, charming, and a good man, he is a perfect match for Piper. She's amazing, too - intelligent and strong. They complement each other well, and their chemistry is off the charts. I love how their workplace romance grows and how Piper slowly learns she can depend on Chase. Chase's relationship with his sister is also fantastic. It made me wish I had a sibling relationship as strong, supportive, and loyal as the one they share.
Bybee writes such entertaining stories with the perfect balance of intrigue, drama, and romance. And though the story examines heavier subjects like single parenting, unexpected pregnancies, and broken relationships, it's balanced well with lighter scenes, positive relationships, and a swoon-worthy love story.
I always love Bybee's books. The writing is fantastic - immersive, layered, and well-paced, the characters are dynamic and compelling, and the romances are always amazing. I was so rooting for Chase and Piper, and I can't wait for Alex's story! I was also intrigued by the mysteries in the story that involved the unknown sibling and someone trying to upend their leadership roles in the company. Chase and Alex, and by extension, Piper, face a lot of obstacles, and I'm excited to see how some of the overarching aspects of the plot will play out.
Thanks to Catherine Bybee for providing me with an advanced copy of the book. All thoughts are my own.
