All Our Tomorrows (The Heirs Book 1)
Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"God, I hate these tears."
"You cry. I'll catch you."
"Honey, what do you want me to do, get on one knee right now, without a ring or flowers or all the things you deserve?"
------------------------------------------------
I can always count on Catherine Bybee for a palate cleanser and all around good book you want to read under the coziest blanket! I picked up All Our Tomorrows in hopes that it would give me a break from all my heavy fantasy reads, and boy, was it a perfect choice!
All Our Tomorrows was about two siblings who lost their billionaire estranged father, but upon the reading of the will, they learned there was more to his business and life than they knew. This book's plot and pacing were perfect and kept me reading the whole time. While this was a romance, there was a bit of a mystery the characters were trying to solve. While you found out pieces to the mystery in this book, the entirety of it is revealed over the course of the three book series. So be prepared for an incomplete ending/cliffhanger.
I absolutely adored the sibling relationship between the main characters Alex and Chase. Their banter had me laughing, even during the sadder moments, and I loved how they were always there for and supportive of each other.
Chase and Piper were adorable. This wasn't quite insta-love (which is NOT my thing, though it did have qualities of that trope), but more insta-attraction. However, I think it was fairly well done, and I enjoyed watching their relationship grow and develop over the book. I loved Piper's personality and her independence. She was a real go-getter and not afraid of hard work or putting people in their place. Chase was a real gentleman 😉, and I loved his protective instincts towards Piper. He was exactly what she needed and I look forward to seeing more of them in future books.
Also, Kit is the best, most loyal dog!

Great writing
So much to enjoy about this story, while totally HEA, it warms your heart to see things go right for the characters

This book was so great! I loved how the siblings came together after their dad dies to try and figure you who their mystery silbling is who is owed 1/3 of the business. They didn't try to cut them out but they have literally nothing to go on.
The hire back the assistant their dad fired knowing she would know things they don't for a company neither of them wanted anything to do with.
Its well written and I loved watch Chase and Piper get closer and closer even though Piper is carrying a baby from a one night stand. I loved it. It was a really fun and entertaining read.

Not a fan of pregnancy romances but I see why the author chose that trope and approve.
Cutesy book. Not too much drama but a simple read. Cute storyline. One of those “it all works out in the end” type books that I needed right before school started
4.5 Family secrets stars!!

When Chase and Alex's father dies not only were they both in shock that their mean, estranged, grump of a father left them his entire estate including his company. They also learn they have a half brother they are to share everything with.
Chase and Alex decide to join forces and run their fathers company until they can find their brother and decide what to do. The problem is neither of them know the inner workings of the company, they decide to bring back their fathers former PA Piper who can teach them everything they need to know.
I LOVED Piper, she was kickass! It's been a while since I read a book with such a strong female lead character.
I enjoyed the mystery surrounding the long lost brother, I am looking forward to finding out why the lawyer was lying to them and more about Max.
I found the relationship between Chase and Piper moved VERY fast and it was a little to 'fluffy' for my taste.

The fluffiness did not take away any of the enjoyment I got from this book or the plot. A great read and I can't wait for the next one.
Warning: This book ends in a cliffhanger. Not a major one but enough to leave you hanging out for more.
